Performance polyurethane upgrade for your ride's suspension.

A revolutionary material that is changing the never-ending, expensive manufacturing and maintenance cycle is polyurethane. Invented in the late 30's by Otis Bayer, known for Bayer Aspirin, polyurethane was utilized as a synthetic alternative to rubber when rubber was in short supply during World War ll. Since that time, polyurethane has been found to be an extremely versatile and durable material, now utilized throughout the world for a wide variety of applications, such as bushings.
HYPER-FLEXT is Energy Suspension's new, unique and technically advanced chemical formulation for polyurethane. It's the newest generation of polyurethane that's thoroughly performance tested and race proven.
Original equipment rubber bushings can typically give a wandering/uncertain feeling to the vehicle's driver. The vast majority of new factory vehicles are built with "mushy" rubber bushings or grommets, which are a built-in and overly soft buffer between all the suspension components. The result is that the suspension components are thus allowed to "float" excessively. To some this makes the vehicle's ride appealing- those who don't care about a higher level of controlled driving and unfortunately don't even know about HYPER-FLEXT performance polyurethane and longevity... yet!
Energy Suspension products are made with the focus on both performance gains and bushing/grommet longevity. As a result, HYPER-FLEXT polyurethane products deliver a longer lasting firming-up effect of the vehicle's suspension components. As a result, the vehicle is a pleasure to drive. Additionally, the correct durometer (not too hard or soft) is carefully selected for the specific application for each component made available.
So, unless you're vehicle undertakes a regular maintenance schedule (periodically replacing worn rubber bushings), polyurethane
bushings are a performance upgrade well worth considering. Firmer handling, minimized deflection, and greater durability are a few
benefits of poly suspension components, and other parts such as urethane body mounts/lifts are less harsh than aluminum mounts.
As an added bonus, polyurethane parts come in a variety of colors for those interested in performance and aesthetics. |
